Lisa Rowland is an improvisor, teacher and trainer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she has traveled all over the country and world performing and teaching improv. A mainstage company member at BATS Improv, and a founding member of Awkward Dinner Party, she was voted Best Actress by the SF Bay Guardian newspaper in 2012. In addition to teaching improv to adults of all experience levels, she is also the lucky coach of two wonderful high school improv teams in San Mateo, CA. She also a trainer and uses improv to support positive communication, collaboration and teamwork skills in the workplace. She has lead improv-based workshops for companies such as Google, Genentech, jetBlue, Virgin America and Oracle.
